/ what I cleanThe same machine that cleans concrete will wreck siding. Here is exactly what I do to each surface, and at what pressure. Ask me why and you'll get a real answer, not a sales line.
Vinyl, aluminum & stuccoHouse washing / soft washing
Detergent does the work, not the water. The solution goes on, it breaks down the algae and mildew, then it rinses off at close to garden-hose force. Plants get soaked before and rinsed after. Nothing gets forced behind the panels, nothing gets striped into the finish.

Cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner, so the pass is even edge to edge instead of striped by a swinging wand. Oil, rust and tire marks get pre-treated separately before the main pass. This is the job I'm fastest at and it's usually the one that changes how the whole front of the house reads.

Wood gets washed at low pressure with a wide fan tip, then brightened to even out the grey. If you're planning to stain afterward, the wood needs two to three dry days first — staining damp boards is the reason most finishes peel inside a year.

Troughs cleared by hand, downspouts flushed. Then the black vertical stripes down the gutter faces — that's oxidation and road film, not dirt — come off with a brightener. Cheap job, big difference from the curb.

Hand-squeegeed inside and out, screens pulled, washed and put back. Best booked on the same visit as a house wash — the rinse water is going over the glass anyway.

I wash decks. I don't stain or rebuild them — I work with a licensed deck contractor who does, and I'll hand you straight to him. Same for concrete sealing. You get the right person for the job instead of me learning on your patio.
Where I'll tell you no
/ straight answersA short list, and every item on it has cost somebody money before.
Those black roof streaks are algae. A pressure washer strips the granules and takes years off the roof. If your roof needs work, I'll point you to a roofer — I don't get on your roof.
It drives water behind the panels and etches the surface. Once the finish is striped it does not come back. Soap and patience, every time.
Sealing concrete and pavers is its own trade, and it goes badly when it's done as an add-on. I clean, and I'll refer you to someone whose actual job it is.
Wood needs days, not hours. If you're on a deadline I'd rather wash it now and tell you honestly to stain next week than watch the finish peel.
